There are no inventory expenses with affiliate marketing as well. You don’t have to buy any products to re-sell them. You simply promote products, using various methods, and are paid a commission at the point of sale. This eliminates the need for maintaining a huge inventory, and the expense associated with it. Also, mentally it’s tough to see that physical inventory on hand, know that you’ve already paid for it, and are desperately waiting to make a sale. Know what I mean?

There is no need to hire employees. From time to time you may wish to outsource certain aspects of your business. This can be accomplished online through freelancers. There is no need to hire your own employees. Employing others is a huge responsibility and commitment. What if they call out sick the day you need them most? Are you set up to withhold taxes and report to the government? Heaven forbid if your employee is hurt on the job. One of the most attractive aspects of making money online through affiliate marketing is no need for employees.

Generally speaking, as an affiliate marketer you have little to no customer service issues. The program sponsor typically will handle all requests for customer service. For example: you are selling soccer balls for ABC Soccer Ball Company. If a customer had purchased a soccer ball through your affiliate link, was unhappy for some reason, and wanted a refund, or just had specific product questions, those issues would all be handled by ABC Soccer Ball Company, not you!

Do you start to see some of the advantages of making money online with affiliate marketing? While these advantages are significant, it still takes hard work on your part. And, it will take a little time just like any business endeavor. But, compare a typical first six months scenario with a traditional business model and the advantages of affiliate marketing become clear.
